As I was reading in the scriptures, John 12 to be exact, I came across a particular verse that jumped off the page and into my spirit. Such a profound verse, yet so true for this time we live in. Grab your Bibles and turn with me to this verse:
John 12:23 " And Jesus answered them saying, 'The Hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified."
As I read this verse, it truly dawned on me through the revelation that was coming, that we really are in a very profound season or time in history. Whether we like it or not, THIS IS THE HOUR, THE TIME PERIOD WHEN THE SON OF MAN, THE SON OF GOD CHRIST JESUS WILL BE GLORIFIED!!!
Now what this means exactly, I'm not completely sure, but one thing I know without a trace of doubt is that JESUS CHRIST IS AND WILL BE GLORIFIED IN THIS TIME WE ARE IN!!! Hallelujah!!!
This only means, as the BRIDE of Christ or as the true Church and body of Christ, we must be living a daily SELFLESS life so that we are so HIDDEN in HIM that HE IS SEEN and Glorified, and not US! Just like our forerunner Paul the apostle said and did, we too must die daily (1 Corinthians 15:31), pick up our cross and follow Christ. We must be living in a way that is consistently allowing CHRIST to be Glorified in and THROUGH US! Whether we like it or NOT, HE WILL be GLORIFIED! So we may as well just say 'YES LORD' and yield our lives to Him in all areas because as his word says, HE WILL BE GLORIFIED!
Amen!!!
Pray this prayer with me:
"Lord, help us to be so ready for you in every area of our lives. Teach us Lord how we should be selfless, help us to be selfless, show us how to pick up our cross each second of each day and follow you. Let us know that we have been raised with you Jesus as your word in Colossians 3:1 says and that our lives are hidden with you Jesus and in God. Let us live daily so that we are truly hidden and the world sees us not, but rather, they see YOU JESUS! Please Help us Lord to let you be Glorified in this Hour!!!
Amen!"
