Sometimes God tells us certain things right? Then there are other times He just loves on us. Then there are times He instructs us and disciplines us as his children and then of course there are times when he ASKS us something. Well this is kinda crazy but ever wondered what our ANSWERS really mean to Him? Like there are times we may say NO (whether knowingly or unknowingly) and then there are times when we don't even answer at all. Then again, there are those times when we say YES!!! YES LORD!!! So this may sound crazy to you and that's fine, but our YES means a whole lot to the Lord.
Let me show you how I saw it.
So a couple of days ago I was chatting with Yeshua and he asked me about something. In fact he 'Proposed' this idea/thing to me. And He was just patiently waiting for an answer. I thought about what He said and in that moment as I was pondering upon what he had proposed to me, its as though He was saying "well will you?" I was going to say YES but when I heard Him ask in that way, it was so loving and sweet its almost as though I just had to Jump up and say YES! So I turned and said "YES! YES I DO, I WILL!!" The reaction I got surprised me but was overwhelming. When I said 'YES', I saw Jesus turn to others who were around and He shouted with glee - 'SHE SAID YESSSS!!!" He was super super happy when I said YES and what's more, He announced it to all who were surrounding Him at that moment!
In fact, in that moment I got to see the big picture. You see, Yeshua and Heaven wants to partner with us if you will. After all that is what relationship is all about right? Its about WORKING together and in unison, flexibility and of course sacrifice. So that's what Jesus was showing me, that he is ecstatic when we respond 'YESSSS'. In fact heaven is ecstatic when we say YES because when we say YES, we are giving permission for both realms, heaven and earth to MARRY into one to bring forth that which the Lord is asking at that specific moment in time!
This is how I saw it; 'When Yeshua asked me if I wanted what He was offering, it was like his 'Proposal' to me. Just like when a man proposes to a lady to be his wife. Then when I said 'Yes!" It is my response to the 'proposal right. Well just like the man who gets excited when the lady he proposes to says 'Yes', Yeshua also gets super excited! He is filled with pure joy - He is JOY!! But the excitement He shows is pure bliss and its contagious! And just like the announcement is made to the families and friends, so Yeshua announced to the heavenly family that I had said YES!
See our responses carry something great - they are the bridge between the 'Let it be on Earth as it is in Heaven!' Our responses, when YES, gives permission for Heaven and Earth to be married as ONE in whatever it is that Christ proposed to you/me/us! Isn't that crazy awesome! WOWWW!
So take a moment and think, how is it you are answering the Lord when He is speaking to you or asking / proposing something to you?
"But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one."(Mathew 5:37)
